// Context: Account and Data Deletion Instructions
01 — OVERVIEW
Zero Layer VPN uses Google Sign-In solely for authentication and subscription management. We do not store any of your personal data, logs, or usage history on our own backend servers. All your preferences and authentication tokens are stored locally on your device.
As required by Google Play Store policies, this page provides instructions on how to delete your account and associated data.
02 — DELETING DATA VIA THE APP
You can instantly remove all your data and sign out directly within the app:
- Open Zero Layer VPN on your device.
- Navigate to the Settings tab.
- Tap on Log Out or Delete Account.
This action will immediately clear all local authentication tokens and preferences from your device. Since we don't have backend servers, this effectively "deletes" your account from our service.
03 — DELETING DATA BY UNINSTALLING
Because Zero Layer VPN does not transmit or store your data on external servers, simply uninstalling the app will completely remove all your data.
- Long-press the Zero Layer VPN icon on your home screen or app drawer.
- Select Uninstall.
Once uninstalled, no trace of your usage, preferences, or login state remains.
04 — REVOKING GOOGLE ACCOUNT ACCESS
If you want to ensure that Zero Layer VPN no longer has any connection to your Google account, you can revoke access from your Google account settings:
- Go to your Google Account Connections page.
- Find Zero Layer VPN in the list of third-party apps with account access.
- Select the app and tap Delete all connections you have with Zero Layer VPN.
